1. General Guidelines

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that it meets the following criteria:

  • Length: The manuscript length should typically not exceed 7,500 words for research articles, including references, tables, and appendices. Shorter submissions, such as commentaries or reviews, may be allowed at the discretion of the editorial team.
  • Title Page: The manuscript should include a title page with the following information:
    • Title of the article
    • Full names of all authors
    • Affiliation of each author (institution, department, country)
    • Corresponding author’s contact information (email, phone number)

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be organized in the following structure:

  1. Title: A concise and descriptive title of your manuscript.
  2. Abstract: A brief summary of the key points of your paper, including the research question, methodology, results, and conclusion. It should not exceed 200 words.
  3. Keywords: Up to 5-7 keywords that reflect the main topics or themes of the paper. These help improve searchability and discoverability.
  4. Introduction: A clear introduction that presents the background, research question, objectives, and the significance of your research.
  5. Literature Review: A thorough review of relevant literature, providing context and situating your study within the existing body of knowledge.
  6. Methodology: A detailed description of the research design, data collection methods, analysis techniques, and ethical considerations (if applicable).
  7. Results: Present your findings in a clear and logical manner. Use tables, charts, and graphs where applicable. Be sure to provide appropriate captions for each visual element.
  8. Discussion: Interpret your results, discuss their implications, and compare them with previous research. Address any limitations of your study.
  9. Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest future areas of research or practical applications of your work.
  10. References: List all sources cited in the manuscript. Follow the APA (7th Edition) citation style for consistency and accuracy.
  11. Appendices (if applicable): Include any supplementary material such as additional data, questionnaires, or technical details that are important for your research but not essential to the main text.

3. Formatting Guidelines

  • Margins: Use 1-inch margins on all sides of the document.
  • Spacing: The text should be double-spaced, including references, footnotes, and appendices.
  • Headings: Use clear and consistent headings for each section of your paper (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, etc.). For example:
    • 1. Introduction
    • 2. Methodology
    • 2.1 Data Collection
  • Figures and Tables: Number all figures and tables consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1). Each figure/table should have a caption describing the content. Figures should be clear, with readable labels and legends.
  • Footnotes: Use footnotes sparingly. They should be in Times New Roman, 10 pt and appear at the bottom of the page.

4. Ethical Considerations

  • Ethical Approval: If your research involves human participants or animals, you must provide a statement confirming that ethical approval was obtained from an appropriate committee (e.g., Institutional Review Board (IRB) or ethics committee).
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that might affect the research or publication process.
  • Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that the manuscript is free from plagiarism. Forefront in Sociology & Political Sciences uses plagiarism detection tools to check submissions. Any manuscript found to have significant plagiarism will be rejected.

5. Data Availability Statement

We encourage authors to make their data publicly available when possible. If data cannot be shared for any reason (e.g., confidentiality, privacy concerns), please provide a clear justification. Manuscripts should include a Data Availability Statement outlining the accessibility of any datasets used in the research.

For example:
