Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction 

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are intended to make you aware of your legal rights and responsibilities with respect to your access to and use of the website at www.scientificforefront.org (the “Site” or “Scientific Forefront”) and any related mobile or software applications whether existing now or in the future (“the Site”) of Psylore Private Limited (“Psylore” or “We” or “Us”). 

By downloading or otherwise accessing the Site you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms“), privacy policy, and License Agreement.

1. Definitions 

“Services” will include publications and editorial services that are offered in the site or ordered by the customer through the Site. 

“Content” means the content that Scientific Forefront creates and makes available in connection with the Services including, but not limited to, visual interfaces, interactive features, graphics, design, compilation, computer code, products, software, functionalities, aggregate ratings, reports and other usage-related data in connection with activities associated with your account and all other elements and components of the Services excluding Your Content and third party content. It will include (but is not limited to) images, photos, audio, video, and all other forms of information or data. 

“Your content” or “User Content” means content that you upload, share or transmit to, through or in connection with the Services, such as articles, likes, ratings, reviews, images, photos, messages, customer information, information on the number of tables, table availability, table usage and any other materials that you display or are displayed in your account. 

“You” or “Your” or “User” is a reference to you as a user of Scientific Forefront Site or its services. 

1. Access to the site 

The Site is made available for your own, personal use. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Services only as expressly permitted in these Terms. 

Access to the Site is permitted on a temporary and as-is basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services provided by us on the site without notice.  We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, up to date, free of errors and bugs, and free of viruses.  

You are responsible to ensure that all persons who access the Site through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them. 

The Site may be updated and may change the content of the site at any time.  

Articles published on the Site marked as “Open Access” are licensed by Authors and are distributed by us under the Creative Commons License. Each Open Access article on the website will include information on the creative commons license and you must adhere to the terms and conditions of the license.  

All other Content (that are not marked as “Open Access”),  

• You may not distribute, transmit, syndicate, sell or offer or make available or commercialize in part or in full except in ways that are specifically permitted in these terms and conditions. 
• You may not copy, download or store any content, files, feeds or data from the Site whether publicly available or not, to make or populate a database or publication of any kind whatsoever, provided that for the avoidance of doubt that is not intended to restrict the copying of an insubstantial part of any such material where you are able to show fair dealing in each case, in accordance to the Section 52(1)(a) in the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and its subsequent amendments. 
• alter, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain any part of the Site or its Source code. 

1. Linking to the Site 

Users may establish links to the Site provided that the link is legal, fair, and not detrimental or damaging. The usage of links in any place or form shall not take unfair advantage or damage the reputation of the business. The links shall not be for advertising or promotion purposes unless expressly agreed by us.  

The link shall not be used in such a way that it suggests that endorse or approve of or is associated with the linked website, webpages, blogs, or any third-party content.  

Framing of the site on other websites is not allowed. The content of the site in full or part shall not be accessed by any other URL. We reserve the right to change the link without any notice and at any time.  

We are not responsible if the link of the Site is used/submitted on any third-party sites, and you should read all applicable terms and conditions and policies of the third-party sites. 

1. User Registration 

You must ensure that the data provided by you on the Site is accurate and complete as a registered User. It is your responsibility to keep such data provided to the Site up to date. The registration is for a single User unless explicitly stated.  

You are required to provide a valid email address and by providing us the email address you warrant to us that you are entitled to receive emails to that address.  We are not obligated to send you emails and may stop sending emails to you without any prior notice. 

It is essential that you use your real name to register as a User. You are responsible for anything that is done with your user account on the site. 

Usernames, passwords, or any identity tokens and codes provided to you as part of the security procedures must be treated as confidential data. You must not disclose such data to any third party. The responsibility for Loss or damage that may result due to your failure to keep such data confidential is solely on you.  

We may suspend, terminate, or prevent your account and/or your access to any part or full Site at our sole discretion. In such cases, you may not attempt to re-register, submit, or access the site without receiving appropriate consent from us. Under these circumstances, we may continue to publish or use your Content on the Site. 

1. User Information 

In addition to these Terms & Conditions, please read the privacy policy as it governs the collection and usage of information. The personal data collected and used in accordance with data protection law, and any other applicable legislation. By using our Site, you consent to us obtaining, holding, processing and transferring your data as set out in the Privacy Policy. 

1. Publishing Articles 

By submitting manuscripts to the Site, you agree that unless otherwise specified explicitly, your articles are published under Creative Common Attribution 4.0 upon editorial acceptance and any data relating to the article (including without limitation any reference lists) is distributed pursuant to the Creative Commons Public Domain Dedication waiver.  

Under this license, you shall retain the non-exclusive right to publish or otherwise use your Contribution and shall be the “Licensor” of the “Licensed Material” for the purpose of the aforesaid license. 

If we believe that the copyright has been or is likely to be infringed, then we are entitled (on giving notice where possible to you) to take steps to deal with the matter as we consider appropriate.  

You undertake not to do anything which may compromise or prejudice our conduct of such claim and we shall be entitled on giving notice to you to use your name and the name of any other co-author as a party to such proceedings and to control, settle or compromise such proceedings as we see fit.  

You shall (and shall procure that any other co-authors shall) co-operate with and give all reasonable assistance to us in the conduct of the claim. 

We reserve the right to refuse to publish any article or other Content for any reason. It is our sole discretion, subject to any rules and procedures applicable to any Site, whether or not we choose to publish or otherwise make available Content on the Site.  

We may remove Content at our discretion, subject to our obligations in respect of peer-reviewed articles. 

By submitting an article or content (including without limitation all texts, tables, abstracts, illustrations, data, diagrams, images,  photographs, computer graphics, audio and/or video recordings, comments, questions or suggestions, and personally identifiable information and other materials accompanying the Content) for the purposes of publication by us you represent and warrant that you are the sole author of the Content, or, if not, you have been authorized by and have the full permission, license,  and consent of all co-authors to submit the Contribution and any personal data associated with the Content.  

You also warrant   

• that the content is original and has not been published elsewhere in any form.  
• that it is not under consideration for publication by any other journal.  
• that you have the necessary permissions and licenses for any third-party material, data, or code contained in the Content.  
• That you have disclosed to us all potential conflicts (not limited to personal, political, financial, and religious conflicts) of interest of all co-authors.  
• that the content is not obtained by contempt of court or any violation of the official state secret codes. 
• that the content is not unlawful, defamatory, legally privileged, or which would, if published, constitute a breach of contract or of confidentiality or breach of privacy. 
• that the research conducted for the Content has been conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice. 
• that all policies have been adhered to in the preparation and submission of the manuscript. 
• that due care and diligence have been carried out in the preparation of content to ensure accuracy and all statements are true and correct.  

• that you will ensure that you bring to our attention that any or part of the content is incorrect or false. 
• You assume all risks associated with Your Content, including anyone’s reliance on its quality, accuracy, or reliability, or any disclosure by you of information in Your Content that makes you personally identifiable. 

1. Article Processing Charges 

Publishing content with us requires payment of non-refundable Article processing charge (APC). For detailed information of APC, please refer to this link: 

In the event, that the article is accepted for publication after the due process, the corresponding author is responsible for the payment of the APC.  

Payments are to be made within the stipulated time. It is essential that the payments are to be made as indicated here and we are not liable to payments made to any third-party tools or services. 

1. Intellectual Property Rights 

We are the sole and exclusive owners or the licensee of the services and Content on the Site. We also own exclusively the copyrights, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, trade dress and other intellectual and proprietary rights associated with our services and Our Content.  

You acknowledge and agree that all articles and all associated materials that are submitted or processed through the site are Confidential. You warrant and agree that  

• this content will be held and treated as confidential information. 
• you will take all essential steps to safeguard its confidentiality. 
• you will not disclose this information to any third party or use it for your personal benefit or the benefit of the third parties. 

By submitting the article to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide, royalty-free license to publicly perform, copy, reproduce, display, make available, communicate to the public, modify, edit, manage, distribute, store and publish any and all of your submitted content in print or in electronic form in order to prepare the article for publication, indexing and archiving. 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we neither warrant nor represent that your use of materials displayed on the Services will not infringe the rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with us.  

You agree to immediately notify us upon becoming aware of any such claim that the Services infringe upon any copyright trademark, or other contractual, intellectual, statutory, or common law right. 

1. Liability 

Use of the Site is your own risk and is provided on an “as-is” basis.  In the event, that the Site is unavailable, we will not be liable or responsible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scientific Forefront disclaims all liability whatsoever, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise in relation to the site and all implemented warranties, terms and conditions relating to the Site (whether implied by statue, common law or otherwise), including (without limitation) any warranty, term or condition as to accuracy, completeness, satisfactory, quality, performance, fitness for purpose or any special purpose, availability, non-infringement, information accuracy, as between Scientific Forefront and you, are hereby excluded. In particular, but without prejudice to the foregoing, we accept no responsibility for any technical failure of the internet and/or the Site; or any damage or injury to the users or their equipment as a result of or relating to their use of the Site. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

Scientific Forefront will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), under statute or otherwise, because of or in connection with the Site, for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business and/or anticipated savings); or loss of goodwill or reputation; or special or indirect or consequential loss. 

If Scientific Forefront is liable to you directly or indirectly in relation to the Site, that liability (howsoever arising) shall be limited to the sums paid by you upon purchasing the service of the Site, or any in-Site Spend, including APC. 

1. Maintenance of the Site 

You acknowledge and agree that the Site in full or part will be put on maintenance mode for updating the Site, fixing defects, errors, and bugs, performing diagnoses, fixing hardware or software issues, and regularly scheduled activities. Under these situations that the site may be inaccessible or unavailable to the User. 

1. Variations to Terms & Conditions 

We reserve the right to amend changes to the Terms & Conditions & additional terms page referred herein at any time. The changes will be made to these pages, and you must check these pages from time to time to take note of these changes as they are binding on you upon visiting the Site. Terms & Conditions or its provisions may be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Site. Such changes are not limited to Additional Terms. 

1. Severance 

In the event that the court or competent authority finds that one or more parts of these terms and conditions are unenforceable, invalid, or illegal, only that part or provision of these terms & conditions will be deleted only to the extent that is required by the law and the rest of these terms and conditions will not be affected and will remain in full force and effect. 

1. Jurisdiction & Applicable Law 

The law governing these Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian Laws in the State of Tamil Nadu.  

Indian Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).  

For our exclusive benefit and to the extent possible in the applicable jurisdiction, we retain the right to bring or enforce proceedings as to the substance of the matter in the courts of the country of your residence or, where these Terms are entered into in the course of your trade or profession, the country of the place of business in which you agreed to these Terms or (if different) the country of your principal place of business.
